Steam split with Madison, and are now 6-7 in July, after 3-10 start

The La Crosse Steam softball team split a doubleheader at Madison on Wednesday.

The Steam dropped the first game 5-1, before getting a 2-1 win in the nightcap.

The Steam (9-17) are 6-7 in July and after starting the year 3-10.

They now have a few days off before playing three games at Mankato, beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday.
