A year after getting to Final Four, Badgers host first rounds of NCAA tourney as No. 2 seed

The seventh-ranked University of Wisconsin volleyball team will host the first rounds of the NCAA tournament.

At 7 p.m. Friday, the second-seeded Badgers (23-6) will play Fairfield (21-11) in the first round.

The winner plays either Tennessee (15-11) or No. 19 Georgia Tech (20-9) in at 7 p.m. Saturday in Round 2.

Wisconsin made it to the Final Four last year, losing to eventual national champion Texas 3-1. The Longhorns beat Nebraska 3-0 for the title.
