Blaskowski breaks own NCAA DIII record, in leading UW-L to 32nd WIAC title in last 33 tries

Sam Blaskowski broke his own NCAA Division III record in winning the 100-meter title, leading the UW-La Crosse men’s track and field team to its 32 WIAC championship in the last 33 tries.

Blaskowski finished in 20.08 for the Eagles, who have a conference record 59 titles in program history.

Other notables from Saturday’s finale, included Cael Schoemann’s WIAC meet record in the 800 (1:49.67) and Blaskowski tying his UW-L record and breaking the conference record in winning the 200 (20.33).
