Jack Studer set the UW-La Crosse football team career touchdown receptions record Saturday, in helping the No. 22 Eagles snap a three-game losing streak with a 34-7 win over UW-Eau Claire.

Studer had eight receptions for 132 yards. His 9-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter made him UW-L’s career leader with 31 scores — breaking Scott Burnoski’s record (2001-04).
Studer is already second at UW-L in all-time receiving yards (2,793) and moved into third for career receptions (149), surpassing Jake Simuncak (2017-21).
