Cotter girls basketball coach Pat Bowlin gets win No. 700, months after becoming Minnesota’s all-time winningest softball coach

WINONA, Minn. — Cotter High School girls basketball coach Pat Bowlin got his 700th career win on Thursday night with a 57-33 win over La Crescent/Hokah.

It comes nearly five years after picking up win No. 600 on Nov. 30, 2019.

Bowlin, who began coaching girls basketball at St. Bernard’s in 1983, took over at Cotter in 1991.

Bowlin currently sits fourth all-time in Minnesota for coaching wins in the sport.
