Individuals can receive an Adaptive Ski Lesson. This can be sit-skiing or stand-up skiing. One can glide down the hill to experience the thrill of the hill or receive a complete lesson on skiing. Professional ski instructors with training specific to adaptions provide the lesson. All activities are provided at no cost to individuals and their caregivers and families through a grant from the North American Squirrel Association, a local group committed to making the great outdoors accessible for everyone. Adaptive ski time/lessons are one hour. There is a track chair on site to transport individuals onto the hill and helmets are available.
