What: The Tea Drawings Exhibition Where: The Pump House Arts Center in La Crosse, WIArtist Reception: March 7th from 5 – 7 PMFree and open to the public with snacks and a cash bar. Celebrate the art and exhibiting artists on view! The Tea Drawings combine Traffas’ lifelong passion for adornment, an interest in herbal medicines, and feminist perspective on the female body. These drawings, which were created using a single black pencil to capture shadow and light, portray women in ordinary, fleeting moments or the natural, imperfect-perfection of the female nude, wrapped in intuitive and inky marks.
