Racing Sausages crash La Crosse elementary school, as Brewers honor Friedman with teaching award

Baseball fun Tuesday afternoon at Southern Bluffs Elementary as the Milwaukee Brewers Famous Racing Sausages stopped at the school to the delight of the students and surprise for one teacher.

The stop included taking time to honor first-grade teacher Jennifer Friedman.

She was named the Brewers Grand Slam Teacher, and given a custom Brewers jersey from the Brewers president Rick Schlesinger.

He also presented a $1,000 check to Southern Bluffs principal Amanda Durnen for school from the team.
