Volunteer to help protect and preserve the waterways and shorelines that make our region so special at River Clean Up on Saturday, May 10. Those with boats are especially encouraged to register as they can access areas others cannot. Check-in runs from 8 a.m. to noon on May 10 at one of four boat landings:7th Street La Crosse (Green Island)Clinton Street West LandingFred Funk Landing, Brice PrairieGoose Island West LandingFor more than 30 years, River Clean Up has been a force for positive change and a source of pride in the area. Since 1993, volunteers have:Removed almost 1 million pounds of trash from our communitiesRecycled more than 3,000 abandoned barrels Removed and recycled almost 2,000 tires from our waterwaysVolunteers who register by May 5 are guaranteed their t-shirt size.
